Ashley Azubuike, RIC

Ashley Azubuike is originally from Northern Virginia and now considers herself a Richmond native after living here for over 5 years. She is a proud queer woman of color who holds a deep passion for advocating on behalf of her clients, by bridging the gap in accessibility to mental health services within marginalized communities. Her personal experiences have profoundly shaped her mission to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has access to the support and care they deserve.


She is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and validated throughout their therapeutic process. Empathy and compassion guide her practice, and she wholeheartedly embraces the diversity of individuals' experiences and identities. Ashley draws from various treatment modalities to help clients navigate life's complexities, foster resilience, and discover new possibilities for growth and healing.
